Yes, these are annoying to read, and absurdly unnecessary if you are headed back to where you came from - what are you likely to read that you haven't already seen? But every once in a while, somebody will click on a link he has no reason to, just out of curiosity, and then go whining to a provider about what he saw. On the other hand, if I don't have this link on the page, some ringmaster or Webring administrator who's a little quick on the draw might end up deleting my site from the ring because she thinks that I haven't lived up to the requirements of "total Webring navigability", a concept dreamed up by an obscure avon saleslady from Lebanon, PA who networked her eight page site into a position of undue influence within a certain major ring provider, so as I'm caught somewhat between a rock and a hard place by the conflicting demands, this warning page becomes a necessity.

By ignoring it, you forfeit any right to complain to Bravenet and be taken seriously, because whatever you're about to get yourself in for, especially should you wander off that page and go exploring the rest of that exercise in depravity I dare to call my homepage, you chose to get yourself into after having been informed of the facts.
